This is a first-time entering freshman benefit only. Transfer students and continuing non-WUE University of Utah students are not eligible for consideration. To be considered, students must complete their admissions application file by December 1st, which is the preferred filing date for admission to the University of Utah. Recipients may receive the benefit for a maximum of eight semesters or until they receive a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first.   The cumulative University of Utah GPA requirement is 3.0 or above.
