Utah State University has grown immensely since its inception as the Agricultural College of Utah in 1888.  From its small beginnings atop Old Main Hill in Logan, Utah, USU's main campus now covers 400 acres and 7,000 acres state wide.  The main campus sits at the mouth of Logan Canyon, a virtual gateway to endless outdoor recreation and adventure.  As the Land Grant University for the State of Utah, it has extensions in all 29 Utah counties.  Utah State University is nationally renowned for its research and discovery in eight different colleges: College of Agriculture and Applied SciencesCaine College of the ArtsJon M. Enrollment Information

In order to be considered for the WUE program, a student must complete an online application to USU for Fall 2017 as an incoming freshman or transfer by the January 10, 2017 deadline. Incoming freshmen must have an admissions index of 110-116, and transfer students must have a 3.2–3.59 transfer GPA and at least 24 post high school credits. Incoming freshmen and transfer students with a 117 or higher index score, or 3.60 or higher GPA, respectively, should contact the USU Admissions Office if they would like to be considered for the WUE.

No secondary application is required. Students meeting the above requirements will automatically be offered the WUE. For more specific information on the WUE at USU, please visit https://www.usu.edu/admissions/scholarships/wue.
