Western Washington University offers the focus on students and the faculty access of a smaller college and the academic choice, resources, diversity, and room to grow of a large university.

At Western, the WUE is an $8,781 scholarship and is awarded based on a student’s academic achievements. For students from WUE states, this significant tuition discount allows access to strong academic quality, in a beautiful location between the mountains and the bay, at a considerably reduced cost, making Western a best value as a liberal arts based research institution.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) scholarship recipients may major in any main-campus academic program at WWU.
