Sheridan College

Nestled at the base of the Bighorn Mountains, Sheridan College, part of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, was established in 1948 and has grown to become the preeminent institution of higher learning in Northern Wyoming. Its state-of-the-art campus has eight academic buildings on its main campus, as well as two centers in downtown Sheridan and a satellite campus in Buffalo, Wyoming. It also features five traditional residence halls, eight villas, and three lofts. Its 1,900+ students have access to numerous clubs and activities, including athletics like men’s and women’s basketball and soccer, women’s volleyball, and rodeo. The student-faculty ratio of 16:1 is among the lowest in the nation, and its instructors and students are routinely recipients of awards from local, state, and national organizations.
