UNC Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Freshman Scholarship
• $5,000 per year
• For non-resident freshman (non-transfers)
• Must have a score of 101-105 on the Freshman Admission and Scholarship Eligibility Index (link to http://www.unco.edu/admissions/matrix/matrix.asp?resident=n) *NOTE: other scholarships are available to students from WUE states with an index score greater than 105.
• Available only to residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming
• Renewable if student maintains satisfactory academic progress and continues to reside in WUE state.
UNC Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Transfer Scholarship
• $5,000 per year
• For non-resident incoming transfer students from Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming who have been admitted to a degree-granting program at UNC.
• Must have at least 24 transferable hours with cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Renewable if student maintains satisfactory academic progress and continues to reside in WUE state.
