Great Falls College MSU is a public two-year college offering the comprehensive community college mission to the larger Great Falls area. GFC MSU offers educational opportunities in a variety of fields, including trades, healthcare, and transfer programs. Students may choose from flexible learning options with campus learning, distance education and online courses. The college’s faculty are highly experienced and knowledgeable, and, with a 14-to-1 student to faculty ratio, students enjoy the personal attention that small classes offer. The institution grants Associate of Science, Associate of Arts, and Associate of Applied Science degrees, Certificates of Applied Science and Certificate of Technical Studies in more than 30 programs of study.

Enrollment Information

To apply, applicants must submit a completed application for admission and indicate an interest in WUE.

To be eligible for the WUE rate of tuition, the recipient must follow these criteria:

1)       The recipient must be a resident from one of the following states:






South Dakota





New Mexico


Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands

North Dakota





2)       All Great Falls College MSU programs, except for Dental Hygiene, are eligible for the WUE tuition rate.

3)       The recipient’s program of study does not change once he/she has accepted the WUE tuition rate.

4)       The recipient must maintain a 2.5 grade point average each semester. If the WUE recipient’s GPA falls below 2.5 in any semester, he/she loses the rate and will be ineligible to receive WUE resident tuition again at Great Falls College MSU.

5)       The recipient’s state of legal residence does not change. Time as a WUE student cannot be used toward fulfilling in-state residency requirements for fee purposes at any unit of the Montana University System. Once declined, the WUE rate will not be offered again at Great Falls College MSU.

6)       Students should apply early due to limited numbers of WUE spots at Great Falls College MSU.
