WSU Tri-Cities, a campus of Washington State University, offers a private-campus feel, where faculty and staff care about students and their aspirations. We strive for every student to be career ready upon graduation. We value quality, innovation, experiential learning, community collaborations and diversity.
We offer personalized undergraduate and graduate education with faculty, staff and students engaged in research, outreach and service learning opportunities.
Partnerships with international corporations and locally owned businesses offer hands-on learning opportunities so students can build their knowledge and establish their careers. This unique combination of academic, research and community collaborations in the Tri-Cities provides a learning environment unlike any other in the nation. In working with the national laboratory, local contractors, the wine industry and the ever-growing business and civic community, the campus is engaged in initiatives that will influence the region, state and national economy.
Our professors bring real world experiences into classrooms, as many also are working professionals in fields such as education, law and nursing. We partner with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory or other companies that specialize in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
Washington State University Tri-Cities became a regional campus of Washington State University in 1989 and offered junior and senior-level coursework and graduate programs. With remarkable support from the community, WSU Tri-Cities received legislative authority in 2007 to expand to a full four-year campus and began admitting first-year students.
