Northern Arizona University

With the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program, students who meet the university’s admission criteria and live in one of 14 Western states or two U.S. Territories (Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) can receive a tuition rate of 1.5 times the cost of in-state tuition—significantly less than out-of-state tuition. This is a reciprocal arrangement between WUE states designed to allow students access to programs that may not be available in their states.

Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, Arizona, is a public, higher research activity doctoral university, offering 91 undergraduate degree programs. With a fall 2016 enrollment of 30,368, NAU has 20,327 undergraduates on the Flagstaff campus with the remaining population attending NAU at one of 22 sites across the state or online.  NAU is located on the Colorado Plateau at 7,000 feet, has a four-season climate, and is two hours north of Phoenix.
