NAU-YUMA is a branch campus of NAU, located in Yuma, Arizona. The YUMA branch campus has been designated as Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) under DOE with a Hispanic population greater than 68% of the total student body. With a fall 2014 enrollment of 529, it has 319 full-time and 210 part-time students.

NAU-Yuma’s mission is to extend the reach of Northern Arizona University by providing educational programs, conducting applied research, developing student services, and fostering intellectual, cultural, and scholarly activity in a collaborative manner that meets the unique needs of the diverse and growing communities of the lower Colorado River region.
The branch campus offers curricula that are affiliated with the Flagstaff campus as well as develops demand-driven programs that are uniquely situated at NAU-Yuma.
The branch campus works in partnership with local community colleges, especially Arizona Western College, to be a local hub for furthering the educational goals of the citizens of Yuma and La Paz counties.
As the Hispanic Serving branch campus, NAU-Yuma provides NAU faculty in Flagstaff and across the state with applied research opportunities in areas that facilitate trans-border studies, economic development, public safety and health, multicultural education, and environmental sustainability.

WUE eligibility, effective Summer 2015
All students are evaluated for eligibility during the admissions process—a separate application is not needed. Eligible students will receive the WUE tuition rate upon admission and subsequent submission of required Prop 300/Citizenship verification documentation. Check your LOUIE Student Center for the documentation due date. The WUE tuition rate applies only to fall and spring semesters.

2 Beginning summer 2015, students interested in nursing or dental hygiene are now eligible for our reduced WUE tuition rate as pre-program majors.
