Metropolitan State University of Denver

Website: http://www.msudenver.edu/

Metropolitan State University of Denver is the third largest university in Colorado, enrolling almost 23,000 undergraduate students and over 350 graduate students.  Note we started offering graduate programs during Fall 2010.  We are located on 127 park-like acres in the heart of downtown Denver, creating a safe and exhilarating campus experience.  WUE students can choose from 40 distinctive academic programs, with an average class size of 20.  MSU Denver works hard to keep tuition affordable and provide access to substantial financial aid.  We are an urban commuter campus and do not offer residence halls.

NOTE: The rates shown are taken from WICHE's most recent annual Tuition and Fees Report (published in December) and do not include fees. We strongly encourage you to verify these rates with the admissions office of the institution where you want to enroll.

This institution offers the WUE rate to transfer students.

The WUE tuition rate applies to the majors listed below. If the major is not listed here, it is not eligible for the WUE rate:

Enrollment Information

WUE is open to students who meet both MSU Denver admission and WUE program requirements.  Qualified students must apply and be admitted to MSU Denver and must submit the attached WUE Application to the Office of Admissions.  The WUE application must be submitted no later than the admissions application deadline for your initial term of enrollment.  WUE applicants over 23 must provide evidence of residency in one of the WUE participating states (AK, AZ, CA, CNMI, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, ND, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY).  If the student is under 23, evidence of residency for both your parent/guardian and yourself is required.  In order to verify your residency in one of the participating states, you must complete the residency verification form and submit a copy of one of the following credentials:  driver's license, state tax filing, or most recent pay stub or lease agreement/proof of home ownership.

Every semester, participants must maintain good academic standing (2.0 or better cumulative GPA), be enrolled in an approved major, meet with a WUE academic advisor to register for classes and certify with the Registrar's office that they are a resident of a WUE approved state other than Colorado.  Online registration is not available to WUE students.
