Enrollment Information

The WUE program is open only to new undergraduate degree seeking applicants. A request for the WUE tuition rate must be made after submitting an application for admission by sending an email to with "Request WUE" in the subject line. Please provide the full name as it appears on the application for admission as well as the student's date of birth. Our WUE coordinator will then send you a formal application to verify your WUE eligibility. You should return the WUE application as quickly as possible. The final deadline for receipt of the WUE application is the Friday before classes begin.

Students who are admitted and enroll cannot apply for WUE after classes begin. Students enrolled at CU Denver with the WUE benefit may not petition nor qualify for Colorado residency. The duration for the WUE benefit is for four years or completion of the bachelor's degree, whichever comes first. To maintain WUE program status students must:

1. Remain in good academic standing (minimum of a 2.0 GPA each semester).

2. Be continuously enrolled each fall and spring semester as a full-time student (12 credit hours or more).
