University of Idaho

The University of Idaho, home of the Vandals, is one of only 72 land-grant research universities in the United States. From its residential campus in Moscow, UI serves the state of Idaho through educational centers in Coeur d’Alene, Boise, Idaho Falls and Twin Falls, and Extension offices in 42 counties.

Home to more than 11,000 students statewide, UI is a leader in student-centered learning and excels at interdisciplinary research, service to businesses and communities, and in advancing diversity, citizenship and global outreach.

Beginning fall 2018 — All new, first-time freshmen pursuing their first bachelor’s degree, entering with a 3.2 or higher unweighted GPA from an accredited high school, and are current residents of a WUE participating state or territory are automatically eligible to receive the WUE award at the University of Idaho. Homeschool students or graduates from a non-accredited high school must meet a minimum 22 ACT/1020 SAT.

Beginning fall 2018 — all new, first-time transfer students (with 14 or more transferable credits) pursuing their first bachelor’s degree, entering with a 3.0 or higher, and are current residents of a WUE participating state or territory are automatically eligible to receive the WUE award at the University of Idaho.

There is no separate application or deadline for the WUE award, simply apply for admission to be automatically considered.
