Enrollment Information

The WUE program is open to first-time freshmen and new transfer students. 
• Students must be a permanent resident of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. 
• WUE participants are chosen selectively based upon the prospective student's application for admission. 
• Students enrolled in a WUE program receive a tuition rate either comparable to resident tuition or 150 percent of New Mexico resident tuition, plus all applicable fees.
